Eating Well

Eating a healthy, balanced diet is an important part of maintaining good health and can help you feel your best. It doesn’t have to be difficult either, just follow some simple tips to help you with these healthy changes.

Things such as cutting back fat, (e.g. buying lower fat versions of milk, yoghurt and cheese or grilling instead of frying), making some sugar swaps (e.g. switch to lower sugar versions of drinks, snacks, desserts and cereals) and watching how much salt you eat can all help you feel healthier.

Getting 5 portions of fruit and veg a day is also a great way to stay healthy, and is easier than you may think. Nearly all fruit and veg, whether it’s fresh, dried, frozen tinned or canned all counts!
