SEN Explorer Scout Group based at Charlton Academy SE7 8HX. We cater for all SEN young boys and girls from 9 years old to 25 on Monday evening at 6pm until 7.30m we follow the Scouting UK rules, but we are a totally inclusive group. Young people wanting to stay on after they reach 25 can help the group grow. Inclusive BMX club as part of Greenwich BMX (Weekly sessions) Participants do not need to be able to ride a bike, the sessions are to introduce BMX and Cycling and give the experience of what is deemed an extreme sport. Children can begin on the flat surface on a BMX bike, and can progress onto the BMX track if they want to. Progress is encouraged but the sessions are to be enjoyed and for the children and young people to have fun. Brothers/Sisters and friends are welcome to come along and join too.

Access Sport in partnership with Peabody and Cray Wanderers, Inclusive Yoga, Bexley BMX and Tiptoes and Tappers are running a free 4 week inclusive summer programme for disabled children and young people. Sessions are for children and their families from Thamesmead and include inclusive yoga, dance, multi-sports and Wingz BMX cycling. Families need to register and select which sessions they’d like to attend. Their place will be confirmed by email.

During school holidays and half terms, ADO will offer 2 or 4 hour sessions to children and young people who are over the age of 8, have an EHCP and reside in the Borough of Greenwich. The sessions with be on a 1:1 basis, however, as always we will bring children and young people together for specific activities to improve social skills. Morning sessions will run 10am-12pm.
