Dear Albert is a social enterprise which specialises in peer mentoring and making recovery more visible by bringing together existing resources. We have strong links with peer support fellowships such as Smart Recovery, NA, AA and work closely with statutory funded drug and alcohol agencies, private rehabs, local authorities and substance misuse charities.
Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a non-profit society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. They are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean, operating a program of complete abstinence from all drugs. NA is a voluntary organisation; membership is open to anyone with a drug problem seeking help, regardless of what drug or combination of drugs have been used, and irrespective of age, sex, religion, etc. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using drugs.Regular local peer support group meetings are held at…
