Play Plus is a wonderful session for children who struggle with communication or have any additional need. We have experienced staff and can help with signposting to the different services you may need or just to give support. Each session is based on a book with fun activities that support speech and communication. There is a story time and song time and structured activities. We run on Tuesday Mornings 10am - 11.30am, the session is Free so come along and we can’t wait to meet you.

We offer Stay and Play sessions and a toy/book/game borrowing service to our members only. We are open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (9:30-12:30) during term-time only. On Tuesdays we have a sensory session (10:30-11:00), on Thursdays a storytelling session (10:30-11:00) and on Fridays a singing session (10:30-11:00).

The CICS Group - cicsgroup.org - was set up to help families whose children are so deaf that they do not derive sufficient benefit from conventional hearing aids. The vast majority of these children will be suitable for a cochlear implant, a surgically implanted device that, with the right support, and assuming they have no other significant disabilities, will enable them to learn to listen and to develop intelligible speech.
