Grants for disadvantaged students attending a further education college in the UK who wish to progress to university education. Applicants must be intending to undertake a higher diploma or undergraduate degree for the first time. The charity can only help students who are on their final year of Further Educational studies at a UK FE or 6th forth College.
Applicants should apply via the website, or send a short email to enquire about eligibility criteria. The trust is usually only open to applications January to March. The charity also provides mentoring, information and advice, specialist and practical support and work experience opportunities. Article 26 a second project run by the Helena Kennedy Foundation works in partnership with universities to offer funding packages, including a fee bursary & additional living costs funding to asylum seekers who would otherwise be excluded from higher education due to the prohibitive cost of international fees.
