The Charlton Society

The Charlton Society is dedicated to the conservation and improvement of Charlton; we all know about Charlton Athletic, Charlton House and the Thames Barrier, but there are many other features that make Charlton a uniquely attractive place to live.

We monitor local planning applications, hold public meetings on local issues (such as the Charlton Riverside masterplan), that affect the people and environment in SE7.

We also hold monthly talks on matters of local interest.

The Charlton Society is run by a chair, secretary and a committee, which is elected at its annual general meeting each October.
