As a local authority approved supplier we pride ourselves on the first class service we offer, aiding older people to maintain independent living. 

Our service is designed to meet the needs of older people often living alone or with conditions such as Dementia. After a personal experience with her Grandmother Lore Mardle realised there was a great need for a service to not only offer companionship to older people, but to offer respite to the family and those caring for their loved ones.

Our aim is to reduce social isolation by establishing regular routines and companionship with all our clients. We are led by the client and their families to create a bespoke package for daily, weekly visits either at home with all your creature comforts chatting over a cup of tea, a walk in the park to appreciate nature and the elements, or a lunch out. We simply offer a trusted friendship service, drawing on our years of professional experience.

We are very passionate about the service we offer, and are proud to work alongside our clients, to assist where needed, enabling them to stay as independent as possible and enjoy life to the fullest.   

Our Services: 

• Providing a light lunch or an afteroon tea service with a selection of your favourite sandwiches and cakes.
• Assisting on walks and trips.
• Participating in recretational activities like: watching DVDs, listening to music, playing card/board games and therapeutic arts and crafts.
• Cooking and baking togther.
• Assisting with grocery shopping or doing your shopping for you.
• Light domestic cleaning.
• Accompanying to the doctors or hospital appointments
• Day trips.
• Help master the basics of mobile phones and the internet.

We can arrange an informal meet and greet with you and any family members. You can then have time to decide if we are right for you and contact us at a later date.

Please be mindful that companions are not meant to replace family, home help, care workers or maintenance professionals and is NOT a dating service.

A companion is NOT a homecare nursing service and cannot be responsible for personal hygiene, bathing or assisting clients in the bathroom.

All clients MUST be self-suffiecient in the bathroom and be able to transfer independently with or without as assistive device. If the client is in a wheelchair they must be able to transfer in and out of the wheelchair unaided.

Anyone taken on a doctors/hopsital visit or outing must be independent in transfers in and out of the car.
