Children with special needs who have ridden before and reached the stage of rising to the trot and sitting without a side helper. Leaders will be available to lead the horse but we aim to try to get children to achieve some independent riding. As these lessons are not for complete beginners children must have been assessed by the riding centre first. This may be by using one of the other services first.

Self-referrals can be made directly to the service. You can also be referred by a professional such as a social worker, nurse and by schools or community organisations.
There will be an assessment of self-referrals to determine whether the service is right for the child or young person.
