Domestic Abuse Sanctuary (DAS)

DAS is an out of hours service providing additional access to emergency support and care available for women and children when normal statutory and voluntary services are closed.

The DAS provides move on accommodation and specialist on-going support for all vulnerable women and children and those from Black, Asian and other ethinc backgrounds affected by domestic abuse.

Out of Hours Times:

5pm on week days until 9;00am

24 hours on Saturday and Sunday

24 hours on public holidays

As part of the service, we offer drop in sessions and deliver awareness raising workshops on the affects of domestic abuse and also conduct one to one meetings. The DAS also provides: advocacy and outreach support, advice and assistance and complete risk assessments. The DAS accepts referrals from agencies and self referrals or by friends and family.
