Brighter Futures

Brighter Futures is a SEND Short Breaks service designed for young people transitioning into adulthood. They provide services for young people who require both targeted or specialist support.

Brighter Futures' Short Breaks programme provides a range of activities for young people aged 16-25* with complex medical needs, ASD and/or learning difficulties.  Our sessions take place at our centre in Woolwich as well as in the local community.

Brighter Futures supports young people and adults with disabilities to develop new skills and increase their social opportunities. We provide a range of services for those aged 18+ as well as our Short Breaks programme for 16-25 year olds.

The Brighter Futures Short Breaks run throughout the year.

*Please note that for those aged 18+, the young person must have an active Education, Health and Care plan and be eligible under the Care Act 2014. If you are unsure if this applies to you or your child, please contact the Short Breaks team.

Brighter Futures is a Short Breaks provision commissioned by the Local Authority. For more information on how to register for Short Breaks, please visit our information page.
