MumsAid
MumsAid is an award-winning local charity that provides support to pregnant women and mums with children under 2 years old. The focus is on perinatal and postnatal mental health. There are various channels of support varying from individual counselling for any mum living within the Greenwich borough, to offering group sessions with creche facilities available to those who need them.
Sessions are routinely delivered at seven Children's Centres and a number of community venues across Royal Greenwich.
During the Covid-19 pandemic MumsAid is offering online support. We can offer our counselling online and also several groups are available. Our social media channels can give even more information.
In addition, the organisation provides training and advice to professionals on all aspects of perinatal mental health.
MumsAid also has a bespoke YoungMumsAid service, this offers counselling and practical support to mothers from the age of 14 to 21.
