Needle Exchange - Queen Mary's Hospital
The purpose of needle exchanges is to reduce drug related harm and prevent transmission of blood borne viruses. If you use clean and sterile equipment, and do not share with others, you can greatly reduce your chances of becoming infected with Hepatitis C or HIV.
By disposing of your used equipment safely at an exchange you are helping to reduce risks for others who may come into contact with discarded equipment.
