Woolwich Centre Library
Woolwich Centre Library is situated in the heart of Woolwich in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We're located in the town centre, just a short walk from National Rail, DLR, Elizabeth Line and Thames Clipper services. Most buses stop a short distance from the library entrances.
We have a huge range of books for leisure & study, single & group study spaces, and quiet little reading corners to escape. Libraries can also help you to explore and learn about new things, or something that you're just interested in.

DEMENTIA FRIENDLY GREENWICH
Woolwich Centre Library is proud to support Dementia Inclusive Greenwich and be a Dementia Friendly Venue in London. Our staff are trained in awareness and how to best support and sign post people.
Individuals or small family or care home groups can book sessions to use our OMI interactive table top. OMI helps support people living with dementia by stimulating sight & sound, and encouraging physical activity. To book a session at Woolwich please email richard.davidson@gll.org

There are 2 entrances into the library. The most direct entrance, and with level access, is from Love Lane next to the entrance to Tesco. You can also access the library via Wellington Street and the main entrance to the Woolwich Centre, there is one flight of stair or a lift down to the library.
The library is open plan and all on one level. Accessible and baby changing toilets including Changing Spaces are available.

Referrals to the library aren't needed. We do work with the Greenwich and Lewisham NHS Clinical Commissioning Group and Oxleas NHS to support their clients with rehabilitation and access to social activities. Please speak to your health care provider.
