Waterside (6th day provision/NEST 6-week provision)

Waterside School offers Nest, a 6^th day provision for pupils that have received a suspension as well as an assessment base, for primary aged pupils. The NEST provision also provides a 6-week intervention placement for children who are in crisis and struggling to manage in their mainstream school setting. Pupils are referred by the Local Authority or through the Fair Access Panel. The aim is to lower the rate of suspensions in RBG schools and work with colleagues in mainstream primary to enable the successful reintegration back to their school.
