Telephone Counselling Service

The telephone counselling service can be used in several ways.  For example, immediate help and support in a crisis, the opportunity to talk over a problem in confidence, on going support, information about the services the Centre offers and general information about services in the area.  You may feel that other people think that your worries sound silly or bizarre; or you may feel ashamed of something.  Mindline is there for you, whatever you may want to talk about.

Confidentiality

Nothing you talk about is passed to any other person outside of the Centre, whether it is family members, friends, GP, or Social Services etc.  Whatever you choose to talk about will be treated with the utmost respect and will remain confidential.

This service is run by a group of trained counsellors who are experienced in both hearing a wide range of things that trouble people, and in offering support.
