Blind in Greenwich (BiG)

Blind in Greenwich, (BiG) is a not for profit social group that aims to bring the blind and partially sighted people of the Royal Borough of Greenwich together in order to:

  • Promote peer support
  • Help build self-confidence and independence
  • Reduce isolation and improve social activity
  • Improve knowledge of blind and partially sighted issues and benefits.

The group organises social activities and a regular coffee morning with guest speakers. We’d be delighted to welcome new members. The coffee morning is held on the first Wednesday of every month from 10:30 to 12:30 at The Guard House, No.1  Street, Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, SE18 6GH.

We now have a new community directory. Visit all support for visual and hearing impairments for up to date information
