Emotional Wellbeing befriending Support Project
The Emotional Wellbeing Support Project provides individuals who are lonely, isolated or have poor mental wellbeing with support from a trained advisor. Skilled volunteers provide telephone contact to those in need of friendship, reassurance and support. For those that wish to access the community volunteers can provide this support. All volunteers are trained to not only offer a friendly ear but also to identify additional services required and to signpost and refer individuals to other organisations. This project provides emotional support and pathways to meet the changing needs of vulnerable residents in Greenwich.
The project delivers a range of wellbeing activities including walking groups, coffee and chat sessions, cookery, art, and physical activities.
We take self referrals and referrals from organisations.
We now have a new community directory. Visit the new listing for up to date information
