Greenwich CRUSE
Greenwich Cruse provides free bereavement support, help and advice for Greenwich residents, including children. The aim of Cruse Bereavement Care is:
- To provide free support and counselling one to one and in groups.
- To offer free information and advice to anyone who has been affected by a death.
- To offer education, support, information and publications to anyone supporting bereaved people.
- To increase public awareness of the needs of bereaved people through campaigning and information services.
When you make contact, some preliminary details will be taken and you will be invited to an assessment session with a bereavement volunteer at the Eltham offices. Home visits can be arranged though these will take take longer to organise. If happy with the assessment session, clients will be put on a waiting list to see a bereavement volunteer.
It is likely you will have to wait a few weeks before a volunteer is assigned to you for regular sessions. However, our office can be contacted between times.
