Services include childcare and early learning, family support, midwifery and health visiting, breastfeeding support, immunisation, services and activities for disabled children, fathers groups, young parent groups, stay and play sessions, counselling, parental employment, volunteering, training and debt advice support and Families Information Service (FIS) outreach. Parenting programmes and workshops and parental empowerment programmes are delivered within Children's Centres.
Children Centre services are also held during the evening and at weekends.
Children Centres also host some services relating to victims of domestic violence and abuse (DVA), as well as contributing to the early identification of needs through Early Help Groups.
