Plumstead Make Merry

Saturday 6th June 2015 12pm-6pm on Plumstead Common.

The Plumstead Make Merry is the longest-running community festival in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Contrary to popular belief, the festival is not run by the council, and the council do not fund the infrastructure of the event. It is run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about the local area, and funded through the generosity our supporters and dedicated fundraising efforts.

Each year, over 5000 people come along to enjoy a packed day of music, arts and activities that celebrate the history of the area and its diverse community. 2015 marks our 40th anniversary and work is already underway to make this the biggest festival yet so make sure you don’t miss out!

Join us at the Bandstand, the main performance area, for music and dance performances, or sit down and relax in the Acoustic Café, enjoying some tea and cake while listening to our acoustic and spoken word acts.

With up to 80 different stalls from local groups and businesses, there is plenty on offer including food and activities for all the family. Find out how you can get involved:
