Big London Energy Switch: A scheme to help Londoners get a better deal on their gas and electricity bills

You may be able to get a better deal on your gas and electricity through the Big London Energy Switch, a collective switching scheme run by the Royal Borough of Greenwich and a number of other councils in London.

By gathering together a large number of people who want to lower their bills the Big London Energy Switch can encourage energy companies to offer their lowest prices – the more people who join the scheme the better the deal is likely to be.

Once registration is closed you will receive details of how much money you could potentially save if you accept the offer. There’s no obligation to switch when the results come in – so there’s nothing to lose by registering.

Almost 5000 Greenwich residents have signed up to the Big London Energy Switch since it began last year. Households switching in the last round saved an average of £250 on their annual fuel bills.

To find out more or to register go to www.biglondonenergyswitch.org.uk or call 020 8921 5100.

The deadline for registration is 12th October 2015.
