About this site
This directory of support is here to help:
- residents find activities and services that can help them, or the people they care for, make informed choices about health and care options for themselves and their family
- referrers find and recommend support available in the borough
- local service providers and community groups promote what they offer so they can reach and support more people
This website prioritises local services available to people who live in the borough and signposts them to advice and guidance that helps them access the support they need.
If you need help to find services, you can also contact our partners Live Well Greenwich who provide in person and over the phone support on 0800 470 4831.
Disclaimer
The services listed are provided by a mix of voluntary, private and public sector services who are responsible for ensuring their data is accurate.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure information is accurate, the Council does not assume liability for any errors.
We will only list regulated care providers who are rated as ‘Good’ or above by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). You will see the CQC rating on these services.
For services that are not regulated by the CQC or Ofsted, we recommend that you check the organisations to make sure the services they offer meet your needs.
This is an impartial service and we do not endorse providers.
DLUHC funding and reusability
This directory of support is built using Outpost. Outpost is an open source, free-to-use product to manage information about community services. Information about how to use Outpost and technical documentation is available on the Outpost website.
In 2021, the Royal Borough of Greenwich received a grant from the Local Digital Fund, part of the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. This funding is to create a reusable directory of community services that other local authorities could adopt. Outpost is the result of that project. Read our blog post to find out why we’re doing this work.
There are several local authorities across the UK using Outpost. They form an active community who continue to develop Outpost to make it into a better product.
If you’d like to learn more about the funded project or the ongoing development of Outpost, please contact us by emailing community-directory@royalgreenwich.gov.uk
