Our Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) supports children and young people up to the age of 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), their parents or carers.

This service can help you know your rights and options, and is: 

  • free 
  • available all year round 
  • impartial 
  • confidential unless there is a risk of harm

You can get help with: 

  • talking through concerns about your child’s education and putting your views across 
  • understanding letters and reports from schools and other professionals 
  • writing letters about your child’s needs 
  • attending meetings at your child’s school or early years provider 
  • disagreements and appeals 
  • finding other services 
  • liaising with other children’s services 
  • finding future education opportunities for young adults 

We also organise information events and opportunities to meet across Royal Greenwich.
