Give us feedback on our new website to help us improve it.
Your child may need support for certain parts of their learning such as:
- reading
- spelling
- writing or handwriting
- maths
- learning in general
If the school’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) believes your child will benefit from our services, they’ll refer your child to the Support Team for Education in Primary and Secondary (STEPS).
How we support your child
We need your written consent so we can work with your child to understand their learning needs.
If we think your child needs help, we may recommend tailored support such as:
- a phonics programme tailored to your child’s needs
- setting targets to support them in learning to read using a whole word reading approach called Word Up
- developing their maths skills
STEPS will train school staff to deliver this support.
You can also find resources to support your child’s learning at home.
