As you are aware, there is increasing demand for local special school places.  To help meet this need, the Compass Partnership of Schools submitted a special free school application to the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the Department for Education to open a new, all-through special school in Greenwich for children and young people aged 5-19 with who have been diagnosed with autism and complex learning needs.  This application was approved in April 2024.

The Compass Partnership of Schools is delighted to launch its consultation in relation to its new special free school, Rowan Wood School which will open in the Royal Borough of Greenwich in 2025/26.  The consultation will enable all stakeholders and interested parties to learn more about Rowan Wood School and to share their views.  We are keen to hear your views.

The consultation period will run from 16 September to 28 October 2024.

You can find out further information, including how to respond and give your views and details of our two public consultation events via our website https://www.compassps.uk/rowanwoodconsultation
