Specialist day college for autistic people
Ambitious College is an independent specialist day college that supports autistic young people aged 16 to 25.
They offer specialist education and support that help young people prepare for adulthood with:
1 to 1 support can be provided if needed.
Curriculum is delivered by skilled and friendly staff. They are trained in a variety of communication methods including PECS, and Makaton.

- qualified teachers who plan and deliver sessions around Preparing for Adulthood
- Speech and Language Therapists to help develop communication and social interaction skills
- Occupational Therapists to manage sensory issues and develop functional life skills
- Behavioural Analysts to overcome behavioural issues which could create barriers to learning
- employment specialists to develop vocational skills and access work experience
- learning and behaviour specialists to access their person-centred curriculum and mainstream and community provision
