Access to Work (AtW): employment support for deaf people
Access to Work (AtW) helps deaf and/or disabled people get or keep jobs by providing funding to cover the cost of practical support and specialist equipment.
This funding could include money known as a 'grant'.
You would not have to pay the money back. AtW grants can cover the cost of interpreters or other communication support, or provide accessible equipment.
You can use video relay if you would like to contact the service using British Sign Language, and you can speak to either Deaf Umbrella or the DWP.
