ADO specialist outdoor independent school

2 or 4 hour sessions to children and young people who are over the age of 8, have an EHCP and live in the Royal Borough of Greenwich during school holidays and half terms. 

Session times

• Morning sessions will run 10am to 12pm
• Afternoon sessions will run 12pm to 2pm
• 4 hour day sessions: 10am to 2pm (option for children and young people known to ADO who manage well on site)

Sessions can be paid for by personal budget, prepaid card account, through their holding account or privately.
Activities Sessions will be based on specific interests of each child-young person. This could include incorporating such topics as:

• animal care
• equine care
• forest activities
• bushcraft experiences
• animal interactions
• sport and wellness
• mindfulness
• biking
• low ropes
• non-contact boxing
• archery

Sessions are held at a beautiful 6.5 acre outdoor site in Welling which benefits from:

• nature
• wildlife
• woodland areas
• plenty of trees and plants
• animals including horses, ponies, pygmy goats, pigs, raccoon dog, guinea pigs, snakes, bearded dragons, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, skunk, degus and a variety of invertebrates

Support during sessions
The sessions will be on a 1:1 basis and are bespoke to each child-young person to ensure they enjoy themselves as much as possible and have full support.

Although they're 1:1, children and young people will still come together for specific activities to improve social skills too.

Therapy sessions
ADO also offers one hour therapy sessions which can only be privately paid for.

These sessions are on a 1:1 and cover all ages.
