Befriending from Miss Mardle's Companions

We support older people to maintain independent living whilst offering respite to the family and those caring for their loved ones.Our service is designed to meet the needs of older people often living alone or with conditions such as Dementia. We help to reduce social isolation by establishing regular routines and participating in some of the following activities:

• Shopping - We can take you to the shopping centre or local high street for some retail therapy. 
• Day Trips - We can take our clients on day trips to places of interest or places from their past to rekindle happy memories. 
• Appointments - We're happy to accompany clients to attend appointments to Doctors, Hospital, Dentist or to any other service they need help to access.
• Cleaning - We can do some light domestic cleaning whilst on visits and we also offer a full house cleaning service at an additional cost.  
• Recreational activities - We like to join in with activities that our clients enjoy like: listening to music, watching movies, playing cards and board games or therapeutic arts and crafts. We can also take clients out to activities and clubs in the local area. 
  
  We are led by the client and their families to create a bespoke package for daily/weekly visits either at home, with all your creature comforts chatting over a cup of tea, a walk in the park to appreciate nature and the elements, or a lunch out. We simply offer a trusted friendship service, drawing on our years of professional experience.
