Brighter Futures short breaks for people aged 16 to 25

A short breaks programme that can help young people develop new skills and enjoy social opportunities throughout the year.

The programme provides a range of activities for young people aged 16 to 25 with complex medical needs, autism or learning difficulties. 

Sessions take place at our centre in Woolwich and in the local community.

Brighter Futures is a short breaks service designed for young people transitioning into adulthood. They provide services for young people who require both targeted or specialist support.

They provide a range of services for those aged 18+ as well as our Short Breaks programme for 16 to 25 year olds. 
Young people over 18 must have an active Education, Health and Care plan and be eligible under the Care Act 2014. If you are unsure if this applies to you or your child, please contact the Short Breaks team.

Brighter Futures is a SEND Short Breaks provision commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
