Children's Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy for children and young people with a long term physical or neurological condition that makes everyday activities hard.

They can support the child or young person and their parents or carers to manage everyday activities at home as independently and safely as possible.

The Occupational Therapist will assess the child and may recommend: 
  • changes to the way activities are done
  • specialist equipment
  • adaptations to the home environment

The Children’s Occupational Therapy service is based at the Woolwich Centre and works closely with a range of local authority, health and other partner services to support families.

How to book

  • Referral needed
    Children or young people can be referred if they are aged 0 to 18 and live in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
