Children’s Specialist Inclusion Nursing Service – Bexley and Greenwich

The Specialist Inclusion Nursing Service focuses on providing the highest standard of care to children and families in Bexley and Greenwich. 

The nursing team support children with clinical areas including:
  • phlebotomy
  • central line care
  • IV therapies
  • injections
  • wound dressings
  • enteral feeding device support
  • respiratory assessments
  • epilepsy emergency care
  • diabetes care
  • stoma care

They also provide support around: 
  • team around the child meetings
  • child protection
  • child in need meetings
  • discharge planning meetings
  • ward rounds
  • GP liaisons
  • developing care pathways
  • training and competency support
  • education baseline reviews
  • transition support
  • continence
  • continuing care checklists

Nurses provide support for children at the following schools:
  • Willow Dene – Swingate Lane (Primary) and Oakmere Road (Secondary) in Greenwich
  • Charlton Park Academy in Greenwich
  • Shenstone Primary School in Bexley
  • Marlborough Secondary School in Bexley
