Educational Psychology Service

The Educational Psychology Service supports schools and improve outcomes for children and young people experiencing difficulties in their learning, social and emotional development.  

This includes pupils:
  • with special educational needs
  • at risk of exclusion
  • whose life chances are impacted by social and emotional deprivation

Educational Psychologists work with teachers, parents, professionals and other staff to:
  • assess and identify needs
  • develop skills
  • design interventions to help improve educational attainment and emotional resilience
  • promote inclusive practice

How to book

  • Referral needed
    You cannot self refer. A child can be referred by Early Years Co-ordination Team or by practitioners in the child’s early years setting or Children’s Centre
