Greenwich Young People's Council (GYPC)
Greenwich Young People's Council (GYPC) is a group of elected young people who represent the views of children and young people across the borough and influence Royal Greenwich council decision-making.
You can run for election to be a Youth Councillor if you’re aged 11 to 18 or up to 25 if you have a disability and you live or go to school in the borough.
As a youth councillor, you will:

As a youth councillor, you will:
- run campaigns, projects and events on key issues for young people
- meet regularly with senior decision-makers and politicians
- raise awareness of how young people can get involved in local decision-making
- work with other youth groups to get their views on key issues
- be involved in recruiting new staff and commissioning new services
