IYDA is part of the youth service in the London Borough of Greenwich run by Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT).
IYDA provide:
- Farsi classes for children and young people
- sports
- arts and crafts
- performing arts
- cookery
- computer workshops
The programme aims to help children and young people:
- raise cultural awareness
- develop a stronger sense of identity
- develop new skills such as team work
- increase their employability and provide volunteering opportunities
- access further and higher education
