Listening books
Audiobooks for UK residents with a disability or illness that means it's easier to listen to books than read the printed word.
Listening Books gives people with learning disabilities like dyslexia, mental health conditions like anxiety, visual impairments or physical conditions like arthritis a way to still enjoy books. There is a huge range of fiction and non fiction titles for both adults and children aged 7 and above.
Audiobooks provide hours of entertainment and a distraction from loneliness or a health condition. They offer memberships to adults, children, people living in care homes, hospices and hospitals, and organisations like schools.
You can access audiobooks by downloading the Libby app, streaming online, or borrowing bokos on CD sent via Royal Mail.
