The Mix counselling for teens and young people

If you’re looking for short-term support with your mental health and emotional wellbeing, The Mix Counselling service could be right for you.

Our free counselling is open to any young person aged 13 to 25. In a confidential, safe space, our trained counsellors are here to listen, understand what you’re going through and help you find ways to cope.

Counselling can help with a range of issues, including dealing with a bereavement or relationship breakdown, managing stress or anxiety, exploring your sexual or gender identity, overcoming barriers to achieving your ambitions, tackling feelings of depression or sadness, and building confidence and self-understanding.

You’ll usually be offered between four and eight sessions, each lasting around 50 minutes, giving you time to work through whatever’s on your mind at a pace that suits you. Make sure to book a time that is suitable to you since the sessions will take place on the same day and time each week.
