Music & Movement Sessions (LIFT)
Interactive music sessions for people of all abilities, including older adults and people living with dementia, helping them take part, express themselves and stay engaged.
Using simple movement to create music in real time, participants can take control, make choices and see an immediate response to their actions. This helps people stay focused, involved and actively participate, even if they would normally struggle to take part.
Sessions build confidence, encourage movement and create shared moments, supporting connection and meaningful engagement. They can be delivered in care settings, community groups, local venues or as one-to-one sessions in people’s homes across Greenwich.
Sessions have already been delivered locally, including work with Mycenae House Outreach and NHS Oxleas services.
