Occupational Therapy Adults Social Care

If you find it difficult to do daily tasks or activities due to an illness, disability, accident or due to getting older, you may be able to get support from an occupational therapist who can help you become more independent at home.

The occupational therapy team can:
  • help you to regain skills that you have lost because of illness or disability
  • identify equipment and home adaptations to help you with everyday activities
  • advise your carer or carers on how best to assist you
  • assess and address your carer's needs

Visit the website for information on services provided by the Specialist Community Occupational Therapy and Sensory Service for Adults (SCOTSS).
