St Alfege with St Peters School Nursery
The nursery has 3 different types of places.
We have the capacity for a maximum of 26 children to be in school at any one time. This is because our ratios are based on having at one qualified teacher and one Early Year’s Practitioner working with the class. When registering your interest for a nursery place you will need to let us know whether you would like a full time, or part time place and if you are entitled a 30-hour code.
Children can be placed on a waiting list for our Nursery school in the term before they turn 3, however we cannot guarantee you a place.
We have 4 admissions periods in the academic year.
In a typical* year we do not have a summer term admission. During the summer term our focus is on preparing children for the start of their primary education which is a children’s first experience of formal education. This is primarily for children who will be turning 5 between September and August of the next academic year.
- Morning only 8.50am – 11.50am
- Afternoon only 12.20pm – 3.20pm
- Full Time 8.50am – 3.20pm
