Supported living for people who cannot live completely independently
London Care has a number of purpose-built properties across the south east, which allows them to provide accessible and safe housing for older people who are unable to live completely independently.
There are skilled and specially-trained care assistant teams on site twenty-four hours a day, ready to provide support as and when it is required. These properties are known as Extra Care sites. The care assistants at these sites create vibrant communities in which clients can play as active a role as they choose. As well as developing a calendar of engaging social activities, they also run scheme-wide initiatives which help service users to stay fit and healthy, such as onsite GP clinics, nutrition workshops and exercise programmes.
