We use the term deaf to mean all types of hearing levels from mild to profound. This includes deafness in one ear or temporary hearing loss such as glue ear.

Learn more about deafness on National Deaf Children’s Society’s website

There is no right or wrong way to be deaf. How you or your child identify as a deaf person is unique.
