We continue our summer focus by looking at facilities on the beach including moveable walkways, accessible beach huts and Changing Places toilets. After a focus on beach wheelchairs we are looking to make more things on the beach accessible now there are: Mobi-mats - to help wheelchair users move easily from the promenade onto the sand and closer to the sea, it creates an easier path for wheelchair users as they may struggle to walk on the beach. Woodlands Farm is an 89 acre working city farm.  Children and young people can find out about farming life and experience the countryside, including livestock. The farm encourages school visits, has a toddler club and activities in school holidays.  It also offers educational and volunteering opportunities for young people to develop their knowledge and experience of farm work and farm management.
