Somali Parents' Network
Somali Parents Network is charitable organisation that was established in 2003 to promote social inclusion and integration.
We support people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin in particular, but not exclusively, people from the Somali community.
Our work is aimed at:
- Providing a local network group that encourages and enables them to participate more effectively with the wider community.
- Increasing, or co-ordinating, opportunities for them to engage with service providers, to enable those providers to adapt services to better meet the needs of that community.
- Developing the capacity and skills of the beneficiaries in particular but not exclusively in such way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society.
