Planning ahead for employment

I'm Thinking Ahead: How to be part of the world of work is a guide to help young people and their families think about work as a future option and take practical steps to make it happen. This might be part-time or full-time work or starting volunteering. It's all about getting to know people locally who might help, thinking what kind of work would be right for a young person and how to try things out and get experience whilst still at school or college. It will help young people talk about their future with others, including at EHCP meetings. It will also help parents and other family carers support their relative to think about their options.

It's free to download from https://www.togethermatters.org.uk/young-people/
