Greenwich Sexual Health Central (GSH Central) (Formerly know as Contraception and Sexual Health Services (CASH))

Greenwich Sexual Health Service, GSH Central, (formerly CASH) is the name for the contraception, sexual health and reproductive health and gynaecology services in Greenwich.

We offer walk-in and appointment clinics, providing advice and information on all methods of contraception, screening, tests and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy testing and advice.

Separate clinics are held for young people and adults. Free condoms, lubricant and dental dams are available.

Referrals from a GP are required for community gynaecology services, psychosexual counselling and complex contraception.

We are closed on bank holidays.

Notes

When we are closed, emergency contraception is available from:

  • Your nearest Chemist (under 21s)
  • Alternatively, you can go to A&E at Queen Elizabeth Hospital but you may have a long wait as you will need to see a doctor (all ages).

All emergencies once triaged will be seen.

Please note that clinics may have to stop accepting clients if demand is high.

For complex contraceptive problems, such as a difficult coil fitting, you will need to be referred by your GP.
