Annual Memorial Tree Event - In Memory of Enslaved Africans in Greenwich 1600s-1800s

This is an annual memorial event held the 2nd Friday in August. In 2023 this will be Friday 11 August and in 2024 Friday 9 August etc. 

The tree sapling, a June Berry, was planted in October 2010.

The first organised annual event started in August 2014.

All are welcomed regardless of ethnicity or other differences.
