About this course
This workshop will enable students to develop basic IT skills. Students will learn to use a computer, to navigate and successfully use a range of software and applications.
On this course students will learn how to:
- Develop a basic understanding of Microsoft Word by creating a document, adding in writing and saving a document
- Learn to copy, cut and paste on a word document
- Select a printer, preview and print documents, print selections and multiple copies
- Use the internet (introduction) and how to safely search for information using a search engine and navigate the web
- Set up an email account, send an email with/without attachment, reply to an email from their peers, delete an email
What is the level of this course?
The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as students who wish to further improve and develop their skills.
What can I do after the course?
After this course, you can progress onto Microsoft Word Basics and Microsoft Excel Basics.
