Greenwich+Docklands International Festival

Greenwich+Docklands

Greenwich+Docklands International Festival is London's leading festival of free outdoor theatre and performing arts. The 2019 festival is running from the 21st June to the 6th July at locations across Royal Greenwich, East London and the City of London.

GDIF is proud to be part of the Royal Greenwich Festivals, a programme of high quality festivals and cultural events celebrating the cultural vibrancy of Royal Greenwich. GDIF events take place across the borough, from the beautiful historic setting of the Old Royal Naval College, to Eltham’s bustling high-street and the dynamic twin Woolwich locations of General Gordon Square and Royal Arsenal Riverside.

The Festival is open for everyone to enjoy, and we are committed to ensuring access is a priority. We also run the GDIF Festival HUB for outdoor arts professionals across our opening weekend, as well as offering a host of volunteering opportunities across the Festival. Explore the links below to find out more.

The event is produced by FESTIVAL.ORG.

We pioneer new approaches to access and audience engagement, and support D/deaf and disabled artists to make shows for outdoor environments. We have been awarded Gold by Attitude is Everything on their Charter for Best Practice for GDIF, for demonstrating continued commitment to accessibility for D/deaf and disabled people.
