Managing Sight Loss Course - London Vision
Join London Vision at the Clockhouse Community Centre for a free in-person Managing Sight Loss course.
Who is it for:
Blind and partially sighted people along with their friends and family.
About the course:
This is a friendly one-day course where we will be exploring the services available to blind and partially sighted people, particularly in Woolwich.
We will explain your rights and the benefits of registration as Sight Impaired or Severely Sight Impaired. The one-day course will introduce you to assistive technologies that talk to you or that can make text larger on your computer screen. We will also explore some of the everyday challenges created by sight loss and some of the tricks you can use to make life a little easier. Best of all, you will get to talk to people just like you.
Happy to chat
If you are feeling a little nervous about coming along, please do get in touch. We will be delighted to chat to you and work to make your experience as good as it possibly can be.
